Ode To The Queen Modern Greek Gods YA/NA Series Grace of Gods Book 1 eBook Kyleigh Castronaro Reviews

I loved this book, I really felt a kinship with Savannah and how she felt about herself and I loved how she and Aiden had to learn to trust in themselves and their love. I definitely am hooked to this series!!
I didn't like it felt more like a bunch of 16 years in high school. Couldn't even finish it.You have a man ho for the main lead guy,and the poor sad no one likes me for the female.
Greek mythology meets soap opera meets action movie. You can see the rest of the series building as you read. Book 2 is definitely on my tbr list!
I have always been a fan of Greek mythology, and I believe that's why I loved this book even more. The way the book takes a whole new journey with the Gods without straying from the original personalities and traits was not only refreshing but exciting as well. Cant wait to read the next book.
Great concept, very original. Made me revisit Greek mythology to sharpen up my knowledge of the gods. I like how she made the characters have to discover which god was using them as vessels, and it wasn't just a given that they all accepted.
Could use a good editor to look at it. Little mistakes took away from the story. Overall it was a fun read & I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys mythology or is looking for something new in romance.
This novel pulled me in from the beginning. If you enjoy urban fantasy, romance and a bit of suspense you will like this book. You must pay attention to the characters, how they interact with one another, and the god that possesses them to understand it. It's an intricately weaved story that in the end makes complete sense.
Savannah is off to college, when her world completely gets turned upside down. Now faced with the fact that she is a goddess, Savannah is half the time denying who she is, while still chasing after the good looking Aiden.

What I liked If enjoyed the Greek gods premise to this book, since I am a Percy Jackson fan, and have always enjoyed Greek mythology. Some of the dialogue was pretty funny and I enjoyed the banter between Savannah and Aiden. There were a couple times my jaw dropped because of the horribly mean things they said as well! There was a good mix of characters, without being overwhelming, and the interactions between them were very interesting and held my attention. You get to see these young adults find who they truly are. I feel as if the author really knew the personalities of these Greek gods and portrayed them well through the characters she had.

What I didn't like It was a bit soap opera for me at times. Mostly, because Savannah was kinda stricken by Aiden too fast for me, though he was really good looking. I think she expected him to love her a bit fast--though I think weeks had gone by, so this is probable I suppose. Sometimes Savannah's personality was a bit annoying, even though I feel she played the Hera part very well, but that needy personality always is a bit annoying.

Other than that one thing, I really enjoyed this book. I never was bored with what was going on, and the author did an awesome job. If you enjoy some good relationship ups and downs, Greek gods, then you'll enjoy this book!
